We used their boat rental service in July 2017. When we arrived, the boat we rented was not available, as it had broken down. We had to switch to a different kind of boat. At their Bigfork location, they are using facilities of Marina Kay Resort. At this place we were charged for boat rental and use of paddleboard, which we were not able to use, due to high winds. We came back to the marina and returned the paddleboard midway. Staff at the Marina Kay Resort assured us that we would not be charged for the rental of paddleboard. However, we never got refunded for the charge or reversed the charges. Please check your bank statement or credit card charges, before you leave the marina. Between the two companies, no one took responsibility for this error.
We almost did not call for a rental because of some of the recent comments. I am glad we did, the staff was very friendly and had boats for rental. Before we left the Marina we received a good introduction to the boat. We rented a pontoon boat, it was a little dated but in good shape for our needs. The engine was in good shape and it was able to pull a tube on Flathead lake which is one of the things we wanted to do. When we returned from eight hours on the lake the dock was busy but the staff was quick to let me know they would be right with us. They handled each person with understanding and we never felt we were rushed. I wold recommend this company and will use them in the future.
I had a great time out on the pontoon! It was right on time and only took a matter of minutes before we were out on the beautiful lake! Definitely made for a great day in the sun!
We rented a 24' pontoon boat in August of 2017 from the Bigfork location. The rental rate was on the high end in the area. For the money, I was disappointed in the condition of the boat. Most seat cushions were torn and there was a piece of broken metal near the swim ladder that cut my son's leg. The driver's seat back was either bent back or just very uncomfortable. I was also surprised that there was a 4% fee for using a credit card. Had I known that, I could have brought cash.
Nice guys. Very accommodating. Got us in and out of the water quickly.
